It ended almost as fast as it seemed to start; one moment the whole of the Seireitei was down on its knees, begging whatever cosmic force that was listening that, maybe, somehow we'd be saved. Somehow, one of us, or even a bunch of us, would magically become strong enough to overcome Aizen's forces.
And then, it happened. A whirlwind of sand and red, the Hogyoku was destroyed, and the threat that loomed over the delicate balance was gone, banished back into the soul pool. In a great heave, the entire universe let out a sigh of relief. Things are not always so simple, though; if there's anything Aizen taught us it was just that. Life is a massive web, or an intricate carving upon a rock face. Even if you cannot see them, there are twists and turns everywhere.
Where it starts and where it ends is never really the point; it's whats in between all that. And there are plenty of things that are in between the beginning and the ending. Peace is only a momentary break in the storm clouds of war. And Aizen was just the beginning.
Oath of the Soul (Tamashii no Chikai) is a Bleach role-play, set three years after the end of the current arc (with a slightly different ending cause I ain't waitin' on KT's slow self). TNC has been running for over three years now, and focuses heavily on plots and character development and interaction. Come, choose your side, and shape the world as you see fit.
- Lots of canons open!
- Really need some rebel Shinigami!
